NEW VERSION DESIGN CHANGE NOTES: New flat design does not hang down. Some customers encountered scraping over tall speedbumps or potholes with the previous design. Seems like we’re spoiled here in Central Texas - we didn’t see this problem. Anyway, we changed the design to eliminate this risk. The new design also has improved mounting hooks.
The skid plate is mounted with tabs and bolt slots using 2 OEM bolts on the right side, and 2 new bolts with spacer sleeves on the left side.
Removal is easy: loosen all 4 bolts a few turns, slide the skid plate forward and off. No need to remove the bolts.
Reinstallation is easy, just slide it back onto the 4 bolts and tighten.
